Client: MWH
Job: Owenga Wharf Replacement, Chatham Islands
This job required innovative thinking from Bert and his staff to deal with the dynamic and often challenging aspects of shipping a drilling rig across the Pacific, reassembling it onshore and then using it to build a new wharf over the existing one. With wild weather and tidal patterns added into the mix, plus keeping the wharf open for the Island's fishing vessels throughout construction, it couldn't get much more interesting!
